Self-Service Banking Solution

Opening an account and walking out with the card, in minutes and at any hour — the application, the identity check and the card personalization all handled at one unattended kiosk.

A customer completes the whole sequence themselves: the document is read, the person is matched to it biometrically, the account is opened, the card is personalized on the spot and handed over.

Capabilities

What the kiosk has to do to replace the counter

Everything an officer would otherwise do — check the document, check the person, take the application, produce the card — happens inside one machine.

Bureau-grade card printing

Embossing, indenting and colour photo printing are all done inside the kiosk, so what the customer collects is a finished card rather than a printed stand-in.

Biometric identity verification

Fingerprint and facial recognition confirm that the person opening the account is the holder of the document presented — the check a branch officer would otherwise make.

An interface anyone can use

The sequence is reduced to as few steps as possible, so the kiosk serves customers of any age and any level of technical confidence — including in places a branch never reaches.

Configured for the bank

Fingerprint, facial recognition and electronic signature modules are fitted to the configuration each deployment calls for, alongside document reading, encoding and receipt printing.

Data handled securely

Customer information captured at the kiosk is transferred to the data centre under the bank’s own control, and the software is kept updated against new threats.

Card stock under management

Blank card storage is managed intelligently, so stock levels, replenishment and the state of every kiosk are known rather than discovered.

One-stop, unattended

The branch stops ordering cards and starts handing them over

New cards and replacements are applied for and collected in the same visit, in under a minute. Outside opening hours the kiosk keeps serving, and in districts without a branch it is the service.

What it changes

Shorter for the customer, cheaper for the bank

For the bank

  • Counter staff are freed from the routine of account opening and card handover.
  • Service reaches districts and hours a staffed branch cannot cover.
  • A customer who leaves with an active card is a customer who starts using it the same day.

For the customer

  • The account is opened where and when it suits them, not when the branch is open.
  • One visit replaces an application, a postal wait and a second trip.
  • Identity and data are protected by biometric verification and an encrypted path to the bank.
