The IDM6820 is a drop-on-demand card personalization line for card bureaus and issuers. Cards are encoded, printed and verified in a single pass at up to 6000 an hour, and because each module is controlled separately the same line handles payment cards, loyalty cards and ID cards.

Drop-on-Demand UV Inkjet
Single-pass printing with plasma surface treatment and UV-LED curing, covering the card edge to edge.
High-Speed Chip Encoding
A vertical-lift design with eight contact stations, expandable to sixteen, alongside eight contactless stations.
Magnetic Stripe Encoding
All three ISO 7811 tracks in HiCo and LoCo, including transparent and embossed cards.
OCR on Every Print Module
Each printing module carries its own OCR, with two QC modules checking barcodes and digits before collection.
Wide Material Compatibility
PC, PVC, ABS, PET, PETG and composite cards from 0.6 to 1.0 mm, including SIM carriers.
Module-by-Module Control
Every module can be switched on or off in software, so one line runs several card products.

Cards run the length of the line once: encoded, printed on both sides, checked after each print, and separated if anything fails.
