A multi-functional full-page document reader.
IDMate reads and verifies the identity documents a counter actually meets — passports and ID cards — with fast, accurate optical character recognition, RFID chip reading, barcode reading and smart card reading in one compact full-page unit. It is built for the places where identity has to be established in seconds and recorded correctly: government services, transportation hubs, hotels, telecoms and foreign institutions.
What it reads
Full-page scanning
The whole page is captured rather than the machine-readable zone alone, so nothing printed on it is lost.
Automatic document detection
A document placed on the reader is detected and captured without the operator starting the read.
400 PPI imaging
Capture at 400 PPI keeps the fine printing and the security features legible, for the automated recognition and for an officer’s own inspection.
Chip, barcode and smart card
RFID tags, barcodes and smart cards are read alongside the printed page, so the electronic and the visual record are checked together.

A document placed on the reader is detected and captured automatically, full page, so the printed content, the portrait and the MRZ all arrive together — passports and ID cards alike.

Imaging at 400 PPI keeps the fine print and the security features legible on screen, while the contactless zone on the top face reads the chip — the electronic and the printed record checked side by side.
