The MLP MiniBook is a compact desktop system that personalizes polycarbonate datapage ePassports with the Multi-Layer Personalization security process. It reaches the same quality as the centralized MLP ProBook in a footprint that fits an issuing office, which makes it suited to small and medium-volume programs and to decentralized issuance networks.

Security and color on one datapage
Laser engraving with 256 grey levels, MLI, embossed Braille and micro text combine with full-color UV printing on the polycarbonate datapage, and the paper observation page can carry matching color. Register cameras position each process, and a protection layer with security varnish seals the personalized data.
