IDmetrix® Perso-printer plugin (PP)
The layer between the issuance system and whatever printer is on the desk.
The Perso-printer plugin connects Production Management to the personalization hardware itself. It carries the print job to the device, exposes the device’s state back to the queue, and lets one issuance system drive several printer families — central bureau machines and desktop units at a district office alike.

- Device state reported back to the print queue: ready, busy, error, consumables low.

- Printers at distributed sites managed from the central system rather than visited.
- Print queue integration
- Jobs distributed across printers and locations by priority, with batch printing.
- Consumable tracking
- Ribbon, film, blank card and chip stock reported per device, feeding the low-stock alerts.
- Reprint control
- Reprint limits enforced at the device, so a spoiled document cannot quietly become two documents.
