BioBooth
An innovative biometric self-registration solution.
BioBooth is an enclosed booth that lets an applicant complete a registration on their own — biometric capture and application submission, start to finish, from one unit. Camera, document reader, fingerprint scanner, signature pad, photo printer and receipt printer are all inside, driven by our own software, and the booth is configured to whatever the program requires.

Everything the applicant needs, inside one booth
Face, fingerprint and signature
All three are captured inside the booth, so the biometric record is completed in a single sitting without an operator present.
Document reading
The applicant’s existing identity document is read at the booth and its data carried into the application.
Photo and receipt printing
Printed photos and a receipt come out of the booth itself, so the applicant leaves with something in hand.
Mirror-based camera
The camera sits behind a mirror, so the applicant sees themselves and settles their posture and appearance before the shutter rather than after.
Enclosed and lit
Inside a closed booth the lighting is controlled rather than inherited from the room, and the fill light adjusts itself to the surroundings.
Configured to the program
The module set is flexible: the booth is specified around what a given registration actually requires rather than shipped as one fixed build.

The applicant sees what the camera sees
The camera looks through a mirror, so the applicant can smoothly adjust their posture and appearance before the photo is taken. Without an operator to say “lift your chin”, that reflection is what gets the first capture right.

The camera finds the applicant’s height
The camera adjusts its own height to whoever has sat down. Nobody is asked to raise or lower themselves to suit the machine, which is what makes an unattended booth work for a queue of different people.

The fill light reads the room
Brightness is adjusted automatically to the surrounding environment, so a booth in a sunlit hall and one in a basement office both produce an evenly lit face.

An uncompliant photo never leaves the booth
Eyes closed, a broad smile, a face covering — the booth recognises what would fail and asks for another attempt, preventing the capture of photos that would hold up the document later.

Corrected as it is captured
Light adjustment, intelligent hair recognition and background removal are applied to the portrait on the spot, so what is delivered is a high-quality compliant photo rather than a raw frame someone has to fix later.

One booth across the document portfolio
An efficient self-registration solution for issuing ePassports, ID cards, driver’s licences, voter cards and other identity documents — the same hardware, configured per program.

Every booth on one platform
Booths are deployed across offices, districts and border points. The Equipment Management System lets administrators manage all of them from a unified platform rather than site by site.
