An intelligent biometric enrolment solution for counter service.
Not everyone should be sent to a self-service machine. BioCounter brings the same automated capture to the counter, where an officer is on hand — which is what the elderly, children and applicants with disabilities need. It is built around face capture for identity document applications: a mirror board with an integrated HD camera lets the applicant see and correct their own posture before the shutter, and the station sets its own camera height and lighting around them.

The applicant sees themselves in the mirror board and adjusts their own posture before the photo is taken, which is a far easier instruction to follow than being told how to sit.
AI photo management
Dynamic facial recognition and a photo quality inspection system check the portrait as it is captured, so the photo that leaves the counter meets the standard.

The camera sets its own height to the applicant, so a child and a tall adult are both framed correctly without anyone adjusting a tripod.
Intelligent lighting
The LED panel and backdrop adjust to the ambient light for even illumination — and when the applicant is wearing glasses, the fill light is adjusted to avoid reflections.

Only a compliant photo leaves the counter
Dynamic facial recognition and the photo quality inspection system judge the portrait at the moment of capture: eyes closed, a broad smile, glasses, a face covering — each is rejected and re-taken while the applicant is still sitting there, rather than discovered later.
The camera comes to the applicant
Accommodating individuals of varying heights is what keeps a counter moving. The camera positions itself, so the applicant sits down and the station adjusts around them instead of the other way round.
Even light, whatever the room
Brightness is adjusted automatically to the ambient conditions so the face is uniformly illuminated — no shadow down one side, no blown-out forehead. When the applicant is wearing glasses, the supplementary light is adjusted again to keep reflections off the lenses.
Spoken guidance through every step
The registration process is stripped back and voice guidance carries the applicant through it — which is what makes the station usable by an elderly applicant, a child, or someone who cannot read the screen.
It fits the counter you already have
The station is compact enough to deploy into an existing hall: officer on one side, applicant on the other, at the counters and workstations already in place. No rebuilding the room to install it.
